The construction of the FMZ Lublin Shopping Centre, whose investors are Austrian companies; UBM and ImmoFinanz, began in April this year. There already is a commercial building of E.Leclerc on the plot of land at the junction of Mełgiewska and Turystyczna Streets. The total surface area of the new buildings to be included in the mall is to be 13 850 sqm. The project will differ from others in that there will be an outside shopping arcade with the surface area of 5 000 sqm, comprised of individual premises/outlets. This solution will ensure that stores may be accessed directly from the street.
The investors have already signed a lease contract with the building hypermarket Praktiker, which will occupy the building adjacent to the E.Leclerc one, of the surface area of 8 925 sqm.
The investors, i.e. UBM and ImmoFinanz, are responsible for the commercialisation of the retail space.
